Home grown manufacturer, Spice has introduced a new Android KitKat-based smartphone in the Indian market. The Spice Mi-430 smartphone is now listed on the company's official website at a price tag of Rs.4,399. There is however no word yet regarding the device's exact date of availability though.
Talking about the specifications of the device, the Spice Mi-430 smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with a 480x800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz single core processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 256MB of RAM.
It comes with 2GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter as well. Connectivity options on the device include: GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and 3G. It decks in a 1400mAh battery.
The company recently launched the Stellar 517 and Stellar 470 smartphones, both at the price tag of Rs.7,999. Both the devices support dual-SIM functionality and run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. They are even powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core SoC (unspecified chipset) coupled with 1GB of RAM.
