Samsung has announced it’s new Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3, which are full metal unibody, extra-slim, mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy A5 and A3 are Samsung’s slimmest smartphones to date, featuring refined full metal unibody designs that are 6.7mm and 6.9mm thin, respectively.
“The Galaxy A5 and A3 offer a beautifully crafted full metal unibody, slim design, superior hardware and the best possible social media experience,” said JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Communication at Samsung Electronics in a press release. “These devices make our advanced Galaxy experience even more accessible to young and trend conscious consumers.”

The Galaxy A5: The Galaxy A5 has a 5.0-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, with a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Processor and a 13-megapixel rear camera with AF and LED flash. The biggest plus is the 5-megapixel front camera on both phones, which according to Samsung will offer excellent selfies. It has features we saw in the Note 4 such as Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face Features, and Rear-cam Selfie, etc. The phone is 4G enabled and supports LTE Cat4. It has 16GB Internal memory + micro SD slot (up to 64GB) and comes with 2GB RAM. The OS is Android 4.4 KitKat and the battery is 2300 mAh. The phone supports Bluetooth: 4.0 and NFC but only in the LTE version of the device, and sensors included are: Accelerometer, Proximity, Geo-magnetic, RGB ambient light, Hall Sensor.
